HI!... I just picked up this Boomerang off E-bay a little while ago. It's in really good shape. By the look of it, it was never run. Needs a few things like a new body which I already have. I just need to get some decals.

Well got the new TBG Boomerang body painted up. Just need to get some original decals now.

Well I felt motivated tonight so I ended up appling the Boomerang decales and touched up some paint on the body/wing.

HI!... Decided to take some studio type shots of the Boomerang tonight. I just picked up a Futaba servo for the MSC. Still have to install it. Also need to find a vintage RX to put in it, and paint the driver.

G'day Guys
I recently bought this re re boomer for my son Dominic. I didn't want to do another box art boomer so we tried to do something a little different. I had all the blue bits chrome plated, changed the yellow shocks for some chrome yeah...

Love those shots on your first post, that boomer looks sweet!! This car got me into RC, although I never owned one - jumped to a Mid-Custom, but my mate had one which inspired me!

That sucks, I just spent (in my mind) way too much for a NIP bodyset. I guess the parts will become cheap here shortly to those restoring an older one..... :roll:

The Boomerang is one of the few Tamiya designs I like. That car looks great, but I agree with Lonestar, it needs to lose the bug-eyes on the front shock tower. :lol:

So I'm playing around with a boomerang at the moment and have never been happy with the crappy battery pin set up.
Had some 4mm od carbon tube and decided to see how I could improve it.
Realized pretty quickly a small lathe would of been perferred...

Just wanted to show off my Boomerang. Several months ago I bought a Boomerang parts lot from Flipwils with the intention of using a couple of parts on my Royal Ripper. Well last week I won a Boomerang with a broken chassis on ebay for a pretty cheap...

For the metal gears in the diff I use Tamiya Anti-Wear Grease - this is quite stiff and gives some 'limiting' to the diff.

For the plastic gears I use ceramic grease.

I think my collecting vintage cars finally bit me on the butt this time. I tore this Boomerang down completely this past Saturday and am now wondering what I am going to do with it...I still have no idea. It appears to be missing nearly everything...
