Part number help
Part number help
Hey fella's
I need help with either finding a part or a replacement.
I want to put the stock RC10 shocks on my restores and when I took apart the shocks some of the nylon washers that sit behind the C clip were bent or trashed.
Anyone know the part number for them? A compatible replacement?
I've searched for them but I haven't come up with anything.
I bought the shock rebuild kit but they are not in there either.
Thanks
Tom

Re: Part number help
For the bottom load gold shocks you can borrow the plastic washers (and retaining clips) from this Traxxas rebuild kit:

Then use the AE rebuild kit for the rest of the shock.

Re: Part number help
4187 or 6466 of these should work. 4187 are 1/8 id .030 thick nylon washers. 6466 is a kit different thickness washers. take a look on RC10.com web site for those part numbers.
Re: Part number help
Thanks guys.
The one from the Traxxas kit looks promising.
I'll look up the others. I have about 8-10 sets of shocks to rebuild.

I went and looked at these today at lunch.MIKE VALENTINE wrote:4187 or 6466 of these should work. 4187 are 1/8 id .030 thick nylon washers. 6466 is a kit different thickness washers. take a look on RC10.com web site for those part numbers.
The 4187 is smaller than the one I need I am pretty sure. 6466 is the plastic spacer set that goes on the inner shaft of the shock.
I'll have to keep looking I think or take a look at the Traxxas kit.
Re: Part number help
Yeah I'll check them out.
I didn't have the number at the time and this particular shop is set up for online sales so it's just a huge space with lots of drawers of parts. I'd still be there.
