Trans ratio
I'm using a GT trans in my car due to its lay down style. Looking to lower ratio to 2.25 if possible. Will the buggy gears fit the case of the GT trans or is the spacing all wrong?

Re: Trans ratio
You've got a lot of room to move the motor with the motor plate on that car so maybe you should go to 64p gears and use a tiny spur and giant pinion.
64p can go as low as a 74t spur and a 65t pinion.

Re: Trans ratio
Right now my biggest combo is 69-50 with 48p gears. The 64p is fractionally better. I think I'm going to have to take a different route. My brain is conjuring up ideas already. Just to execute my idea without a mill, cough cough, to any home machinist out there
