Losi XX - Evader BX

I have an older Duratrax Evader BX buggy, which seems to be based on the XX design from Losi. I will be attempting to fit a XX body on this buggy and upgrade with Losi wheels/tires and shocks.

Looking for any input from the Losi Forum - and suggestions that would benefit me in this quest. I sold my nitro MT's so my kids could get into the R/C hobby and this Evader BX buggy is my new little project.

I'd really like to make this a close to a Losi knock-off as possible...

a lot of the parts are the same but the Evader was made from a cheaper plastic

Do you think it's worth the risk to purchase a XX body for this buggy?
Awful close resemblence...
