Hello everyone. Im new here and new to the RC10 truck. I have a few Traxxas Nitros so not new to RC. Its the one with the green body. Anyway I picked up a nice lot of RC stuff for $50 and this beauty was in it. How do I know if it is a T,T2 etc. If you need more pics to help me figure out what it is please let me know. Thanks.
In the first pic there is also a battery hold down that I had taken off. Need to get this thing nice and shiny. How can you tell. And thanks that was fast lol.
Bought my RC10 back in 1985, but some time gone since then. Also gave away at some point.
Now looking for a nice one but I´m far from a RC10 expert.
Got these pictures now but not really sure which version it is.
Sorry for small pictures, there are...

Mark on the chassis is the heavy A stamp
as far as value................................depends on too many variables, and as you probably know we don't like to talk values in these threads.
I finished it almost 1 year ago and did the first run few days ago.
That was before the run...
I broke the body at several places and found that it was less resistant than any of my other cars...

Nice ride.
The ride height looks quite a bit high though. You want the dogbones flat in the rear and the chassis close to level. You might think that having it jacked up would be better but it raises the roll center and center of gravity making it...
I started out with just a chassis. Then I bought 3 different parts lots, and took all the best parts and built an RC10 nitro car.
It's not finished yet, but here it is so far. I just need to add electrics, fuel lines, fix the brake, get rear tires,...
have you ever heard of Cars in Barns??its a website dedicated to old forgotten american muslce. youll see pics like a Plymouth Duster 340 sitting in the woods rotting away, has that big block, the pin stripes, and the 340 on the rear panels.or a...

The seller wasn't sure what version this was and obviously neither am I but there was quite allot of interest in it so I though I would have a cheeky shot at it and won 8) This will become my RC10 runner when I finally finish converting my mongrel...

NICE! I'm not sure if mine have a bar though... does it come with the chassis? Mine are both (I actually have two) new in the package but I don't remember seeing anything other then plates. One is both plates in one bag and the other is plates in...
never had a 10t (always been a buggy only guy as far as vintage goes) until i got this one in a huge lot. what version came with these arms and shock towers? i'm pretty sure that sweet bent camber link is full custom.

The 10T's (and GT's) that were being sold alongside the T2 in '95/'96 had the T2 arms and front shock tower.
makes a lot of sense. thanks for clearing that up!
What is it with those Cadillac version.
I dont see anything special in them.
It is an great car ofcourse but it was made in cadillac street so therefore it is much more prisy :(
Not in my opinion.
If any rc10 is in good condition then it should be...

Early Edingers with the dual bellcranks, fiiberglass straps, rear shock cups, etc are pretty rare, but as mentioned above the rest are all just an rc10. It's all dependent on what the buyer is willing to pay. That's why I haven't found a minty rc10...
Well, I had a go kart up for sale or trade for RC stuff and this guy contacts me with an RC truck he got out of a storage unit. I recognized it as an RC10 and instead of trading I bought it for $80. Now I need some help figuring out what...

It looks like a runner, and you only paid $80 for it. Depending on your budget you could drop $35 on a Stealth tranny and run some modern electronics. Otherwise the vintage stuff will work fine using your current 6 gear tranny. If the idler gears...
