I received my toys in the mail today and cant wait to get started. Ive been on this board non stop for the last week and plan on putting it to good use. This is my first RC in 25yrs and will be my first project. I have these two and a 10T with a stealth. Between the three, it should be a good start.
First...I can't believe I'm posting in this Losi forum. I picked up a xx-4 for a good price for the long cold so cal winter. I'll post pics as soon as it arrives. I know it needs work and a body so I'll be looking for help with parts. :D

My new project I just picked up from eBay for 50.00 bin brand new in the box. I am thinking of installing a 6xl hacker motor, and speed control on 4s lipo. It should be a screamer!

The belt drive trans is just like a real sled. Now if it was only a torq-a-verter style like a real one that would be even better.
I 3D printed some skis today, they actually work quite well!
Sorry for the poor quality. You would think for having a 3D printer, I would have a better camera, but no. In that aspect, I'm still stuck in 2004...

My guess is you wouldn't have to change gear ratio much, if at all. The drive cog is much smaller diameter than a normal wheel, so that would essentially gear it down for you.
What kinds of projects - RC related or not - do you guys have planned? The weather is a changing so it's about time to move our antics indoors.
For my projects, It's high time I finally get that TMaxx cleaned up and sold, and I still have to clean...

I think I have too many projects, I don't think the winter is going to be long enough. :lol:
What I have lined up right now is a Nitro Dual Sport complete rebuild, RC10 CE that needs finishing, first gen RC10 on the way that will get a tear down...
