Hi
I just joined the site and figured I would attempt a brief introduction
I've been into RC off and on since the late 70s / early 80s
My first kit was a Tamiya Holiday Buggy which was for me, in fact, a true holiday gift
I still have fond memories of running it in the snow (and using Saran Wrap in an attempt to waterproof it)
I've built quite a few kits since then
Highlights include the original Tamiya Hilux 3 speed, Tamiya Frog, Kyosho Optima, Kyosho Vanning and Schluter Heli-Boy
My current collection includes an original Tamiya Bruiser, original Tamiya Juggernaut, ReRe Tamiya Sand Scorcher, and most recently a RC4WD Gelande II D110
Here are a few links to some of my builds in case anyone is interested:
Tamiya Sand Scorcher 2010 - I've since added a custom metal exhaust and different coilovers

Tamiya Toyota 4x4 Bruiser - I've since added RC4WD wheels and driveshafts plus aluminum bumpers front, side and rear from Pargu

RC4WD Gelande II D110

Anyhow, I've never built anything from Associated and am interested in getting a ReRe RC10 Classic and/or a ReRe RC10 World's Car
I hope to learn more about the Associated brand and, obviously, the RC10 in particular

Welcome!
Snoop around and have fun. The only AE rig I own is a T3 and it's in pieces but on my list to get to. Again, welcome to the community.

Thanks for the welcome
I've got a lot of research to do and will no doubt have a lot of stupid questions to ask in the near future
