Hey guys,
I just want to show you the last addition to my collection: a new built Yokomo 93 WCS.
It came like this and as you can see the previous owner did a great job!
I'm just going to make some modifications to complete this car and to make this replica even better:
- ad the missing decals to the body
- ad a complete set of new shocks (b2 spec with alloy caps)
- replace the tires by the right ones (flat stubbies)
- trim the motor mount cap
- trim the rear shock tower (as soon as I found another one)
- machine the front and rear arms (as soon as I found a complete set)
- dye the white battery mounts
- replace some hardware like screws (black 8-32 on the bottom, the small M2 screws on top deck and rear bulkhead cap), swap the small white ball cups with black ones,...
Enjoy the pix

Re: Vale's 93 WCS (Masami replica)
Congratulations on your purchase!
Really loving your car..... but then I'm biased
Peakey's old WCS looks like a great starting point from which to build the perfect replica of Masami's 93 Worlds winning car! Its a shame that the photos on Reggie's (charliedon'tsurf) Masami build thread have been taken down as they would have given you a good insight into some of the modifications/lightening that Masami made to his car that Reggie was replicating. My build thread does include a few photos of Masami's car which should help you too!
Cedric on here I believe is also building a Masami 93WCS - I'm sure he would be willing to help where possible.
P.S; 'Daniel' is a good name for someone owning a WCS

Thank you Dan
Yes it's really a great starting point. I'm just going to do these minor modifications as Justins work is perfect.
And I want a complete set of arms and a second shock tower to rebuild it to stock condition...just in case... don't want to touch the chassis plate and bulkheads as these parts don't pop up then and now
Google is my friend, allready found some good pictures I also checked your build Dan for some details (great job btw)
Could need some body pictures to check the decals, see what I have and what I'm missing

Re: Vale's 93 WCS (Masami replica)
Thank you will try to finish this one when I'm back from vacation
I found the tires and some of the missing decals. I'm waiting for a confirmation but seems like I also found a rear tower, which I'm going to modify like Masami did
Cheers,
Daniel
