I have my RC10 put back together. When I started this I thought that I was going to do some kind of wild monster tire truggy kind of thing. However as I took it apart and saw how nice everything really was I wanted to put it back as it was. I rebuilt the 6 gear transmission and added all new bearings. I know the rear tires are not period correct....thats ok....It wont be a show car but will be run outside for fun. I have a nice clean battery tray yet to install and radio gear. I havent decided what kind of motor to put in it..probable stock. Here are before and after shots.
New forum member. I was hoping to get some advice on restoring an old gold pan RC10 back to running condition. The car is in good condition with Novak electronics and looks to be a pole position brushed motor. Tires are dry rotted from sitting over...

The 's' (as in 2s) are the number of cells, each are 3.7 volts, so a 2s battery is 7.4 volts (equal to the old 6 cell 7.2 nicd/nimh). The mAh is the capacity of the battery, the higher the number the longer the run time (also adds weight). The 'C'...

Looks very nice. If you decide to run it, you may want to install a scratched up chassis or install a chassis protector. The A-Stamp chassis is hard to find in that condition.
Hello All. I've had an interest in vintage RC10s ever since I remember reading about the worlds and RC10T kits in the magazines as a kid. I figured now is a good time to get into it with the ReRes out. I just traced a TC4 for what you see in the...

Decided to cut some slots in a gold pan and install a trailing arm kit. I have thought about this project for awhile, just couldn't bring myself to cut into the tub with the possibility of messing it up. Turned out to be really easy with a drill bit...

Looking really nice - great job. Would love some pics for the new web site I am working on if I could get some. We released the first trailing arm kit for RC10, it was this tube conversion, back in mid 1988 and we released the lethal weapon about 5...
I managed to score a A pan six gear car this weekend for $60 from my brother. I hope to take this :
And make it look (sort of) like this:
It's my first RC10 from ~1987-89 time frame. The pics are two different vintages of it. I had dyed all...

OK, I ended up finding a chassis that was a dead ringer for my old car, and I gave a half hearted effort into finding the Texaco decals but came up short. I put this together mainly as a rebuild to sell but I think it's a close replication of the...
I have wanted one of these since my best friend from childhood had one in the late 80's. I picked this up on eBay last night, hope I didnt get hurt too bad at $300. It was advertised as an A stamp Andy's edition . What can you all tell me about this...

The tires for the 1.9/1.7 JConcepts can be hard to find at times.
They are overseas but JC Racing has wheel options for both axle sizes.
Alternatively, you can use the above 2.2 JConcepts fronts and Traxxas 7171 rears with Factory Works rear...
