RC10 gold pan

Post by michiganionia »

I changed out the rear suspension mounts because one was cracked, when I took the old ones out I noticed somebody had cut them down, why would they do that?

Also does anybody know what these black rims are? I striped one of them out and I bought some new ones from j concepts but they rub on the shock tower.

I can't see from the pictures of the wheel that well, but they're possibly b4 wheels. Rubbing where the lower shock mount attaches to the a-arm, correct?
The front hole of the suspension mount was probably cut off to run the short wheelbase location without having to notch the original bulkhead.

J- CONCEPT mono wheels might work https://www.amainhobbies.com/jconcepts-mono-2.2-rear-wheels-white-4-rc10-jco3404w/p1157761

can you take off the wheel and show the axle that it is attached to?

Does that car have rear hex conversion?

If so, use Traxxas 7171 wheels.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

That's why I was curious about the axle picture. For rears with the 3/16 axle it seems easy enough to switch from hex to pins by putting the hex in the wheel.
