Vintage Futaba and Kraft radios and Servos

Hi, I just recently picked up a bunch of Futaba and Kraft recievers and servos and was wondering if anyone had any info or knew what dates some of these were made. Looking to install them in some upcoming restorations. Cheers

Are these radios worth anything? I'm not big on vintage electronics, but I saw these on craigslist at a pretty cheap price.

I haven't seen Kraft radios bring any real money before. They are old enought that they no longer comply with FCC regs, so they are technically illegal to use. However, you never know what they will go for on e-bay. Good luck. -Jeff

Anyone have any good experience with these? I'm looking to get one for my SC10 kit I'm fixing to preorder. Word on the street is changing the steering servo on a sc10 is a NIGHTMARE, so I wanted to look into something long term.

I use a Futaba 3pk radio with a Spektrum module. The problem is all my Futaba digital servos have this problem where they move erratically. I changed to normal servos and the problem goes away.

I have a really old 27Mhz Sanwa Dash R2 stick tranmitter which I have used forever. It is very simple and comfy. Not sure I want to change it really! I hate the complexity of modern computer radios. I should still have an old mini receiver for it...

Some servos are super power hungry (Savox etc) compared to Futaba, and when you use an ESC with a low rated BEC you can have sudden power loss to the whole system due to the...

I've collected a pair of interesting Futaba controllers.
I have a futaba senior

I was going to use a toothbrush and simple green to clean up.

Are there chemicals I should avoid on these...

Would agree with TRX-1-3, dry brush the loose dirt, follow with diluted Dawn sparingly and wiped off quick. Picks in the crevices, q-tips on the chrome, nooks and crannies, with care around Futaba's soft decals. All you're removing is dirt and...
