Twisters motors

Post by R6cowboy »

Found this Twisters for sale. Were there multiple different wind Twisters that looked identical? Any way to tell what this one is? Stock, mod?

Thanks for the info. Trying to decide if it's worth picking up for $30, clean it up and add brushes, springs and new decal.

because its an early version without the gold sides on the brushhoods i would say $30 is ok for that.

Got it for under $28 shipped. Will be a decent touch of variety. Now wondering if I want to spend $90 on a rough around the edges brushed 240S. But no idea what those typically go for.

240S rips. Seriously. Here is a Turbo Optima with a 240S last Saturday at the latest Jasonfest. Sorry for the horrible quality. It is really short too so it would text at a halfway decent quality.

I tried to shoot the same video today...to complain about my Turbo Optima being TOO SLOW with the 240S....then I remembered why I should have brought out the tripod instead of trying to show what full throttle looked like with 1 hand...ah well, I guess my 1st crash had to come sooner or later

Which one is typically more valuable/desirable, early version or later version with the gold sides?
