I built this XX4 for a friend. I wasn't too concerned about having era correct equipment, but I loosely based it on something you may see in the early 2000's. I mostly just built it to what I thought looked nice.
The Hara motor is one of my favorites, and just looked too cool not to use. I made some chassis cuts to show off some of the drivetrain. There are some vintage upgrades from Trinity, MIP, and Dragon.
I recently sent it off to it's permanent home on the other side of the world, and it's in good hands. Here are some pictures.

Amazing build!
I just realized i have that exact motor as well, allbeit in not as nice of condition. I need to find brushes \ springs for it though.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.
