Kyosho Inferno 10 -electric- Optima MID Custom Special hooded
Moin, read a lot here in the past few month, thanks so much for all the input!
Actually rebuild/upgrade a Kyosho Inferno 10 (perhaps) for some vintage racing. Found it in lousy condition w/o engine – ideal for some electric conversion. Body – I´ll try to fit the Optima Mid Custom Special..

Reworking some Kyosho Platinum Shocks for the project, but I need to create longer front tower to fix them and.. the Kelron ones work very smooth so far. Polished the rods, drilled 2 hole 1,5+1,1mm in the front piston, 1,5*2 in the rear ones and filled with 27,5K TLR oil. Original (black) Kyosho springs measured with 63g/mm rate in front and 28g/mm rate for the rear.

Laydown servo (w/o spongy saver) for low CG and alloy steering nuckles that seem to be Lazer ZX but aren't. Fresh Kyosho rims in front and (Dowanol PM stripped off) original ones in the rear:

Measured some vintage LRP X Generation motor, it’s a Silver E 16*3 , but think not enough power for the ”heavy” metal Inferno 10 drive train, eta is about 78%- not too bad for 30 years.. I´ll stay BL, tried to reverse my sensored combo(for front Motor), no chance-so I put in a big C set firstly.

The original Kyosho Inferno 10 didn't come with sway bars, so installed some custom made by 1,3mm piano wire:

I look forward to see it finish.
Have you concidered designing 3Dprited parts to make the rebuild easier?
