Parma Hemi Vette

Post by Dangeruss »

The Parma Hemi 'Vette was released in 1992, one year after the Hemi Coupe and was built on the same fiberglass chassis with coil over kingpin front crossbar suspension and ball differential equipped direct drive rear with alloy hubs supported by a formed aluminum motor pod. The Coupes chrome Hemi engine and big 'n little foam tires on chrome wheels were carried over to seal the street machine deal but it was all wrapped in a five-piece polycarbonate '58 Vette body that Parma touted to be the most realistic body ever produced. A complete set of bushings were provided but electronics were not. As with the Hemi Coupe an assortment of accessories were available from Parma to complete the scale realistic hot rod look.

That's the one. The sad part is mine was that nice before I wrecked it. My father and I built it, and painted the body candy apple blue. Being a candy it was translucent, and had to be backed with a solid color. We chose silver, and it came out beautifully. The body on them were 4 pieces including the detailed undercarriage.
