Schumacher CAT prototype pictures
Very interesting photos - I can see the prototype CAT has three piece wheels, a different brace for the rear suspension on the back of the gearbox ....

Re: Schumacher CAT prototype pictures
Thanks for sharing that. Looks interesting, would be nice to see some better larger pics of it.
Here is a pic from the Schumacher site of a prototype SWB. Obviously a later prototype, closer to the actual production model.
I've got an old Radio Race Car mag with some prototype pics and info in it, of the car I posted the pic of. Will have to see if I can dig it out and scan it.

Re: Schumacher CAT prototype pictures
The prototype CAT picture doesn't scan any better as the article is printed in low quality resolution
I'm trying to work out if the SWB CAT you posted is the same as the one on the RHS of the first picture? That photo came from Model Cars Magazine.

Ian,
Interesting top picture. I have exactly the same picture, although mine comes with a nice 6 page article

Re: Schumacher CAT prototype pictures
Awesome work James - many thanks for that.
And here is that 1986 Geoff Driver finger-bleeding, CAT-scathing review....
And finally, an excellent link between Schumacher & this website from October 1985
