Brief history
Hpi introduced this car in 1996 after the release RS10G in 1995

In 2002 Atsushi Hara was winning the Japanese Nationals 1/12th scale class using a RS12G, some years after being discontinued. Daisuke Yoshioka also was driving a RS12G at the same race finishing in 4th position.

Hpi did not released another 1/12 pan car until 2007 under Hot Bodies brand the Cyclone 12
