RC-10 Bearings

Post by cherokee »

I have an old RC10 that I am trying to get road worthy again. I want to replace the bushings with bearings. I need the bearings for the front wheels, and transmission. Can someone tell me what size bearings I need. It is a 3 gear tranny.

Thanks.

According to my DS Manual, the 2.25:1 Stealth (3-Gear) takes:
2 x 5/32 x 5/16 * AE Part #6589
4 x 3/16 x 3/8 * AE Part #6906
2 x #/8 x 5/8 *AE Part #6903

Oh, and a Part #6596 3/16 x 5/16 Unflanged Bushing. Doesnt seem to have a Bearing Option Listed. But im sure someone else will clarify this.

that would be for the slipper clutch.

as for front wheel bearings, it'll depend on what wheels you have. it'll either be:

4 - 3/16 x 5/16 flanged bearings

or

4 - 3/16 x 3/8 plain bearings

Thanks the front wheels from my B2 fit the RC10 perfect, so I am gussing un flanged bearings. I am hoping to get this old girl up and running again. I hope I can do as well as the poster with the 10T. Old cars can still win.
