Re: Tecnacraft pics
I still own all of those except the buggy wheels with round holes, those were traded with a member here for the set on the bottom which fit the original Rc10.
I still have two more sets and a few misc ones I haven't posted in that link/

Re: Tecnacraft pics
In the past I have raced but really didn't enjoy the attitude of some people. Now I just try to get my friends hooked and then I have racing buddies.
Re: Tecnacraft pics
Just how bad ae the attitudes? I was hoping to start Racing...eventually, but I cant STAND bad "attitudes". I used to play Competetive Paintball until the Cheating started to become "accepted". I've actually been told by SEVERAL "Players", "It aint cheating if you dont get caught", "its just part of the game", that sort of thing.shodog wrote:In the past I have raced but really didn't enjoy the attitude of some people. Re: Tecnacraft pics
Monster...I still race to this day, since early 87.
I see much more attitude from the "serious" privateer racers than from anyone else. I myself get very intense and irritated when things dont go my way (usually my own fault though). Get yourself into a group of a couple like-minded guys, hopefully you are all around the same skill level and have fun. I have found as soon as I start putting pressure on myself to beat Mr So-and-So at the track, I stop enjoying racing. I have taken a 2 month break from my competitve series races just because of this reason. I will go back at it next month, but taking these last 2 months off has made me eager to get back to the track and have fun. I just have to keep reasonable (AKA motor down), and not try to beat the fastest car on the track.
Hope this helps some, dont hesitate to get into racing, great experience, but if you dont like it, you can just go right back to putting around in the yard/up down the street.

Re: Tecnacraft pics
well to me i think the best fun ive ever had racing was when me and buddy's use to get together and hit a local park or school yardshodog wrote:In the past I have raced but really didn't enjoy the attitude of some people. Now I just try to get my friends hooked and then I have racing buddies.
and let it hang all out.i had a midnight pumkin which was my first rc car and my freinds have had fox,frog,holeshot,bumerang.exc.
those were the days man.but i see what your saying since i race alot competitively and some guys just take it to serious.there is a way to
be competitive w/out being an ass#*$ on the track to the other racers but i guess some guys are just like that.thank god im oldschool
and bin doing it for a long time that i race competitively but dont have that attitude when i race and someone messes me up.that is just racing!

Re: Tecnacraft pics
We have a pretty good time at the local track here. The coolest part, the owner leaves it open 24/7. He said anytime I want to come out and play, go for it. So I usually run after work through the week or something. I have not started racing yet. But I will come out and marshal sometimes.
I missed this race, but it was 3 Saturdays ago, and a bunch of guys came down from Jacksonville. My brother said they were yelling at each other and cursing. And it was not all the guys from Jacksonville. It was some of the Wilmington guys too.
I guess you are going to get at least one in every bunch.

He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.
