Bolink Legend

Post by SoloGraphix »

Here is my race abused bolink legend. It has ran inside on carpet and outside on dirt, and probably hasn't been cleaned since the last race LOL.

These are neat little cars. I just saw the other night that the RJ Speed versions are available on Tower, are the body molds any different? They just look a little off, from the original bolinks.

Don't mind the 70's cushion, its from my father in-laws 70's sailboat, and he is storing them in our basement.

these where fun little cars. my local track ran a spec class and a mod class. the track was smooth paved indoor concrete with nitro fuel sprayed on the floor( so i was told). we would use rtv silicone on the tires. there was so much traction you could roll your car if your steering was set to sharp. the compound of tire also played a big role in set-up. the modified legends where just as fast as the pan cars. the hot set up was to run all of the screws loose that held the chassis together. the bushings would wear out fast with that much slop, but it was fast.

those cars look great and just like the full scale cars. 8)
