I bought a spare chassis from Cline, so I'll be running my XX with a brushless set up, against all the newer buggies.

There's one other guy running a XX at RCHR and he's doing quite good with it.

Thanks Guys,

I've enjoyed discussing rc's and other topics with the both of you. We just need to figure out how to get the Losi prices up and the world will be a better place

I'm confused, again. I just noticed the telescoping U joint half shafts on the clean ’94 XX, I thought those were history since the XX retro transmission in favor of the dog bones at the tranny end. I’m also surprised by how short they are, how far the out drives stick out from the tranny, would of expected the shafts would be closer to the arm length, like the bones. Can anyone enlighten me?

Mine has them also? its a mistery I cant find any info about them? I have a bunch of the outdrives for them I won them in a lot auction. but none of the XX manuals have the outdrives in them they all have dogbones? I think they were in the RTR cars and just ended up in some cars. my XX-T has them also? it strange?

The XX sport also came with those. The sport came with:

sliders vs. dog bones
bushings vs. bearings
dark gray shocks vs. black shocks
steel front axles vs. aluminum (these are the peices that ride on the front bearings)

There may also be a wheel tire difference, but I'm not sure.

highwayracer
