Re: Schumacher evolution
Here's how I fix your links to appear as below:
where your code starts with (img= I replace it by (img)
At the end of the picture path I replace the ) by (/img)
The rounded ) and ( should be squared in the code: I can not believe those keys are missing on my dad's spanking new mac keyboard
Have fun, Erik

Re: Schumacher evolution
Jason (bormac) built the car and sold it to Tom (HKP) which painted it http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=56801&id=9831
So this car has been around the world , and one off the best bosscat around.
No i was not the seller !

Re: Schumacher evolution
I didn't remember Bormac's first name About a year ago when i bought from Jason some tyres and spares for my yz10 870c, he told me he was probably the biggest Schumacher's fan in Australia. I guess his collection is a real museumjeroen206 wrote:Jason (bormac) built the car and sold it to Tom (HKP) which painted it http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=56801&id=9831

anyway, the bosscat has ended its world trip. It will remain in my collection
Re: Schumacher evolution
Nice collection or early Cats there
I was watching that XLS on ebay, you just need to add some of Willys decals to it and it would look like mine

Re: Schumacher evolution
Indeed I did build that Bosscat Works and Jeroen is right-it may well be one of the best Bosscat's around at the moment. Yes Tom did buy it from me a few years back and I sold it for a measly $450usd (what an idiot!). It was completely new built and even has a pair of the ball raced steering levers on it ( I actually have a CAD file to repro these by the way) .
It took some working out but that Procat bodyset was actually not from the 89 worlds car of Andrew Nelson but actually from his 91 Detroit WORLDs car. This was Schumachr's first attempt at converting the Procat to a Bosscat style chassis. Wish i kept it now as i am rebuilding the 91 car at the moment- DOH!
....But I will say that your collection is very nice indeed also. My cars all start out looking like shelfers but many of them get run on a race track from time to time. Well done.

Re: Schumacher evolution
Quick question: Were those battery straps & alloy posts available when the Bosscat was on sale, or are they the CAT 3000 ones?bormac wrote:Indeed I did build that Bosscat Works and Jeroen is right-it may well be one of the best Bosscat's around at the moment. .
Really suit the car, Schumacher should have fitted them as standard.

Re: Schumacher evolution
Im not sure when they were made available but they did all come out of sealed packets back when I buit it. I bet the battery hold downs were from a later model but Im not certain.
