Traxxas Slash or Losi Mini Crawler....which would you keep?

Hmmmm....wife is prob going to throw a fit. So, Traxxas Slash, or Losi Mini Crawler? I'm prob gonna have to pick one or the other, as
she gets suspicious if a vehicle stays assembled too long in my office on a shelf or the workbench.

I got the Slash in today, have the crawler due in prob sometime later this week.

I would personally keep the Slash.... Although if you have a desk job, the mini crawler would make lunch times fun and she'll never know!

I work from home.....she stays home with the kids too.....so she is in and out of my office now and then threwout the day.

I used to have a Mini-T at my old office desk job....used to race it up and down the office floor, and see how far we could get into the managers office b4 he would notice it.

The answer is you keep which ever truck fits in your desk drawer. Close the office door with a post it note saying "Conference call, do not disturb". That should keep her out while your playing with them!

Unless he has the mother of all desks, then Slash will ahve to go, I never saw a drawer to fit one yet
Of course you could do like me, keep them all miles away, and hide one in the trunk for when you are out and about

So what's the problem? Half the office is office, half is R/C stuff. Toss the R/C boxes into the garage attic so as not to draw attention to new arrivals, maybe store a few of the runners out there too so that she never gets an accurate head count, she only sees what's on the bench at any given moment. Drape a curtain around the R/C table to further obscure them from view.

If she gives you any poop about them, just tell her that you're the man of the house and she's taking up valuable R/C space so she'd better watch her step! After that, she'll come crawling to you on her hands and knees, begging. She'll also probably be trying to coax you out from under the bed, telling you to fight like a man!

I change my mind frequently on what I want....but she remembers the basement of the old house....I'm up on the 1st floor now, easier wife access....

I still have the same drill in the shot this was me going threw a nitro phase....

Tell her that you can either play at home, with your R/C's or be out bar hopping and picking up chicks, it's her choice.

yeah....but it is big, and beggin for a brushless setup.....I'd love for it to do 50mph down the street....in the snow.

Well, I did return the 200$ Ryobi drill she got me for x-mas.....and never did pick anything else out....hmmmmm

Good point. I have my Speed-T that I can drop a 3 cell Lipo in for some street fun, and still race stadium truck with.....

Mini crawler comes with a DSM radio (that I think I will swap for a Speed-T Transmitter, as it has EPA)

+ the fast I just bought a 1/18th Mini-T for my kid to play with....

Batteries I will have :
2 NiMH
3 Lipo
2 AA holder boxes for power as well.....


I tore down the Slash for eBay already

It would be nice if my crawlers would ship...ordered on Monday, and still in process stage. Hopefully just a
slow website, as I got a message that they would ship Monday....
