Pics of my restorations
Here are a few pics of some 10T's I have fixed up, still have a few things to do. Trying to find a new or nice set of white 3 piece rear wheels for the white and blue one and have to get some bodies painted up.

Re: Pics of my restorations
Actually the pink one was already dyed when I got it just not nearly as clean, I added the RPM gear cover, the HPI wheels, the puretech battery strap and the correct tires. I liked the neon colors from back in the day, its too bad nobody makes the neon dyes anymore.

Looks like you will survive another day here without banning...the blue parts look all to be rpm . Like the pink one myself...graduated in the 80's so neon was all the rage

Re: Pics of my restorations
Dont get me wrong I like it. In 89-91 I worked in a hobby store I sold and built 50 or 60 RC10's I died them all!!! who wants white parts that look dingy after you run it a few times the dyed parts look better in my opinoin ? but who am I just a Losi guy
Re: Pics of my restorations
Damm straight, what's with the white parts fetish these days ?. The best thing about building a new RC10 was that you got to choose what colour the parts should be and it was fantastic to see all the different coloured RC10s out racing. I can remember wearing surfing brand clothing that fluro pink OR MORE fluro back in the late 80s

Re: Pics of my restorations
It makes you want to buy them and let them sit, but there is always the temptation to pull them out and build them.
Re: Pics of my restorations
Problem is lately, there is not much left that you can build, everything is RTR race Rollersblown5.0 wrote:It makes you want to buy them and let them sit, but there is always the temptation to pull them out and build them.
