why did losi change the color of the biulkhead from black to white??
i did notice that the bulkheads are stronger now..
has any one tried to dye one black?

Yes I have dyed a lot of them. they did the same thing for the Jrx cars, I have dyed a lot of them just keep an eye on it I bring it to a boil, the turn it down a little and let it simmer for a wile.

I recently got 2 front bulk heads for old school yokomo off ebay. Both are the familiar alloy kind that went from 870c to early 90s models. I know one of them is a magnesium unit, because it looks and feels like all the other mag types I have...

Yeah, Ive got all except the correct ball ends and tie rods,, unless 870c bits will work. If thats the case,, then yes! If not,, then it will use aftermarket generic turn buckle tie rods, and probably a mix of traxxas and kyosho zx5 style ball ends....

Hey all, it seems that the RC10T CVD kits and bones are being discontinued in both axle size it seems. Hopefully we will get CVA's instead :mrgreen:

Hey guys! I asked on the FB group but I didn't really get an answer. I'm in need of the standard 3/16 x .01 shims that are used for axle spacing. I see Amain has a 20 pack for $6 which isn't crazy, I guess. I thought McMaster might have a 50 or 100...

@ jwscab Yeah, FB's algorithm always adjusts things so you gotta respond right then or you'll never find it again.

So I've often wondered what YFS was on some button and flat head 4-40 screws that I've seen over the years, but I haven't bothered to look it up until now. Apparently YFS stands for Fang Sheng Screw Co. (Taiwan). They've been around since 1979....

Great info! I have seen these screws all over my Losi Jrx2 - ProSE cars. I make sure I use them for a proper restoration. Never had one snap and Taiwan does not equal cheap Chinese..
