I will have brushless in both my Pro Se and LXT soon, I have the controllers, just need to pick up the 17.5's to drop in there. I will be using the LRM tranny in the Pro and the XX retrofit (2.19 buggy version) in the truck.
Both will be powered by Lipo also!!

I ran a 4800kv brushless in a JRX2 street beater for a couple of weeks with a stock LRM tranny, with no slipper and it handled it fine!
I dare say it loved it...I sure did.

I'm happy with it. I'm slowly going to upgrade it to new parts here and there possibly.....FasterLouder wrote:Erik-In my defence, that 'Street Beater' was a JRX2 I bought and ran as is,with the brushless in it...Your car was built up with all the best parts I had.The defence rests!

At least you know that tranny can take some power! Throw the XCellorin brushless out of the Speed T in it!
