JRX2
So this is my first rebuild/project. When I was a bit younger my buddy had one of these and he was always smoking me...got it off ebay some time ago and the long winter in chicago has motivated me to do something productive w/ my time
need to work on the photo taking a bit...sorry
i would like to sometime down the road have this ready for a brushless combo...would a sidewinder combo be to much?

Re: JRX2
alrighty i have cleaned her up a bit and am going to start looking for some parts.
all the turnbuckles have begun to rust. can anybody recommend a replacement kit?
i plan on bashing around w/ this car once completed, should i find the traditional rear suspension or should i use something more modern?
gear box cover...don't have one...really like the clear one's...any suggestions?

Never! Dig Joel Johnson's Optima Mid that he raced with a Losi 5 Link rear suspension on it!top cat mike wrote:FasterLouder wrote:

gonna try but the 5 link seems to be like a unicorn
It works well and to be honest,is my favorite feature of the JRXT & JRXT.
Might as well get a JRX Pro,or a Junior 2 if the 5 Link isn't your thang.

Re: JRX2
depends on what connectors you are using, some are soldered, some crimped. If you are using the white standard plugh I would crimp them together and then solder them as the crimps tend not to hold well unless you use a specialized crimper.top cat mike wrote:sorry for the complete newb question but here it is anyways...i recently picked up a brushless sidewinder motor and speed control kit...looking to install it and I am unsure if I need to solder the batter connector to the wire or just tighten the connector around the wire..any help would be greatly appreciated
