Marui Big bear
Got this recently from my good friend Dean. Apart from the crack in the windscreen it's perfect.
First pic is what I started with.
Action pics to follow
Enjoy

Looks great, my friend has just painted his new built Bruiser in a very similar colour and it looks really nice also.

Re: Marui Big bear
Looks swell. Leave that crack; only makes it look tougher!
3 of the 4 tires are backward on
Looking from the top, the V should point with the point forward: so it pushes mud outwards and back. If you put them the other way round you pull all the mud to the center of the tire and either slip or hump over.
(At least that's what I remember reading long ago, I think in RCCA)

Sorry Jak, didnt mean to touch on a raw nerve with the 'freak' stuff. I just meant that your cars are just so freakishly well built with all that hot chrome everywhere....bling to the maxx!
Im suprised no one else has thought to do what you have been doing. They all look stunning!

Re: Marui Big bear
I had a Blackfoot conversion I did about 17-18 years ago that was published in a car action issue. It used a JG? manufacturing wheel hub adaptor that accepted big bear tires. I remember buying the big bear tires, they were quite expensive back then. They were super soft compared to the Tamiya Blackfoot tires. I wish I would had kept the car. I think I sold it for $150 with electronics. Those tires were my favorite. Awsome Big Bear you have there!
Re: Marui Big bear
Nice action shots! I had one briefly back in the day and now I hope to get another for the collection, something about the old rc's thats hard to pass up
