Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
After seeing the vid, I always gloss over that he raced it as a #3, always see it as #1 on our tribute builds. May have to change my numbers on the bodies....
But Ive never been into the box art, but I think i would really like this just this kit box for display!

Re: Thoughts on the Re-Release Movement in RC
I would like a XX of my own for comparison testing. Not to race though as I'm not interested in loading up on spares. Plus you'd have to accept how much better of a car it is than an RC10 and that would be a hard pill to swallow. Sorry, couldn't resist. It tends to be the AE cars on top in 2w...

Re: Tell me again about how we cant afford to produce RC parts in the USA anymore...
I just put togther a new CustomWorks Beast Midget, to go with my CW Outlaw 4 Sprint car. The Outlaw has a distictive machined spur gear. I went to build the Beast and expected the same spur. But no, it was a Kimbrough , as I have several OG that I kept over the years. Keeping it US made.

Re: The RC10 4wd
I figured your brace would go from the nose tubes back to the rear bulkhead on each side vs this one?GoMachV wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 11:30 pm Forgot to mention, we have the RC10 4WD chassis braces in stock now as well. These do not fit Ten4 or any other platform

Re: Ronbo's Re RE 870C to Cliff Lett YZ-10 Theme EXODESIGN chassis
Well, here it is at his latest setup. Still need to finish decals and maybe get another full set made for spare body. Special thanks to Ruben at rubrixrc for the YZ10 lower tray. The decals currently on the body are mostly originals, with a couple from the new MCI sheets. (never said I was good at p...

Re: RPM transmission comparison
Wow, I feel dumb. I always assumed it was RPM, Now in the right light I see the MIP on the side....
Memory fades over the decades it seems... I see those instructions in link say Jan 1993.

Re: RPM transmission comparison
Thanks to the similar topics at the bottom of the page, I was reminded to check the tooth count on the top shaft. It is indeed 17T, so should be a 2.65 ratio. But my confusion is still there as my new stealth shaft for another project is 20T. My case on the right side I had all stealth components in...

RPM transmission comparison
I came across this on the ebay, seller wanted 200$, so I just put on the watch list. Later, seller offered 125$, so I jumped at it. What intrigued me was it was a 3-gear similar to the stealth setup, with the idler inline vs more towards top like the case on the right. I figured it might be a 2.0-1 ...

Re: ReRe rear dogbones popping out
David Kaffka also posted this for the shock limiting. I thought the 4wd came with shorter rear shock shafts than the Classic. I’m not sure. I have even broken the seal yet. I am just trying to get all the information I can on the dogbone thing before I start my builds. I have a RC10 T sport that I ...

Re: Ronbo's Masami/Cliff Lett Worlds Works 91
Soo, after researching the best I could with pics concerning the IFMAR Worlds 91 Works 91 cars, I've come to some conclusions. I thought it odd that Masami wouldn't have the same chassis setup as Cliff Lett's 3 view pic that's easily obtained during a search. Well, from close up in these pics, he di...

Re: Ronbo's Masami/Cliff Lett Worlds Works 91
Finally updated and finished the car for now. With the exception of a few tire/wheel and hardware details that is. After research, I have come to the conclusion that the pics that inspired me for the Masami Works 91 body (thanks Rubin painter at rubrixrc.com) are of his 91 JMRC winning car. Once I g...

It could just be that tighter tolerances during the mold process vs the later black ones that Im seeing.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Mon Mar 17, 2025 7:40 pm You might have an oddball set. Originals don't have any taper or step to them. Gold pans had a single bushing that went all the way through.
