Re: My Vintage A&L RC10
Looks like an excellent start to a fun build. I have always really liked the trailing arm kits and have built a few. Thinking you could go either way with the bell cranks / A-arms and still be period correct but some of the other guys on the thread but know better. I kind of like matching up afterma...

Re: Shodog's RC10 Tube chassis build
Sweet project Shodog!! That is a cool looking tube frame and I think the paddles will look really good on there. I finally took my tube frames to a powder coater last month after having them hang in my garage for the last 3 years. Excited to get working on them after seeing your build!!

That is a really sharp looking build. I think the silver chassis looks cool. Something different.

Re: So what is the rarest part
Hop-up - Miracle Speedway quick-adjust lowering kit (I think that's what it's called) or an Advanced Racing Products mid-motor conversion. I would agree that the Advanced Racing mid-motor conversion is really rare and have only ever seen one along with the Hyperdrive on-road conversion. How about t...

Re: MIP 4WD kit rareity
So for my own clarification, there were 4 different MIP 4wd kits? I was not aware that the belt drive was a hop-up to the chain drive. I always assumed that they had the chain drive kit and then updated the kit to a belt drive version later on.

Re: New member, potential vendor, and RC10 fan!
Hey Chris, Really glad you found your way over to the board. I had a feeling you would be a good fit with all the other loose screws around here :D I think you'll find the RC10 bunch to be just as dedicated (read crazy) about their whips as a Tamiya or other guru. The vintage RC10 is a great buggy w...

Fantastic build. The A&L buggies are always fun to look at.
Those 1.5 paddles look great on there.

Turned out really good. You have to have minty white parts to pull that color combo off.

Found this link. Probably too big for an rc10 but maybe there are other mfg's out there as well.
