Re: Car Care Products
I find that before adding any type of cleaner to really grungy GM carpets is going in the vehicle with a stiff brush and have a compressor with a air nozzle. Brush the crap out of the carpet and blow the crap out of it with the compressed air. It loosens the deep grime and kind of revives the short ...

Re: 12mm hex conversion
JC Racing makes some nice 2.2 5 spoke wheels that I have used and like a lot. If you want to switch to 12mm hex front, just get the front components for a B/T 4.2. Doing this mod is very straightforward. You can find complete front component sets on ebay from disassembled RTR T4.3's pretty cheap. I...

Re: Another what's old is new build............
Another great time at the track. One of these days I'll get the right tires  (or at least do a correct glue job next time I get some primes. ). The dirt webs I used were great at the end of the day when the track was getting dusty but the primes on your sons car looked to work great out th...

Highly doubt they are members here but never know. From the looks of it they are part of the FB R/C community that joined groups to turn a buck and learned the hobby overnight but claim to have been in it for years.

Re: Old Is New Now Old Runner Project
Finished this up. Took it out last Sunday to test it out and it ran well for first time out with it. Got attacked by the rental short course trucks but was fun. Will need to adjust the gearing and get different tires but other than that I'm happy with the outcome.

Re: Old Is New Now Old Runner Project
Getting some more done on this. Added a mip bellcrank. Need to drill new holes for the nose tubes. Changed the rear tower back to a standard tower for now and will see how it handles with that. Will probably add a inner hole on the tower and move to there as the shock angle seems a bit off. I Used t...

Re: Old Is New Now Old Runner Project
LWB with buggy bellcranks gives you a F'ed up steering geometry... you need to tap the front holes if you're gonna do that, in which case it's ok.
Good to know. Thanks. I'll stick with the short wb for now. I have a nice MIP bellcrank to use.
Thanks Brian!

Re: Old Is New Now Old Runner Project
Progress... 8) Happy birthday by the way! :) Thanks!! Should be plenty of time to get this running and make some possible changes. I'm torn between mounting the nose in the buggy or truck position but I don't have a 10T steering bellcrank. Well I have the plastic and screw set but not the spring/nu...
