Re: Chrome Pan 10T project
Interesting concept. I've never seen an ae chassis chromed before. I personally prefer the look of polished aluminum, but this def. original. I figure this build isn't for running, but I'd be real careful when installing all the screws into the chassis, as the plating might get real thin inside the ...

Re: RC10T Runner by slotcarrod
traxxas also sells the blue ones in their rebuild kits, or did. I don't recall whether or not the traxxas blue seals were/are made of silicone or whether or not they even worked well. I thought I read something somewhere about how the "newer" red seals from ae might be made of silicone, a...

IIRC the good blue o-rings for the ae shocks were made by MIP:

Re: Stealth Tranny and Brushless?
I was thinking of freezing spray (duster can upside-down) on the shaft, and some heat on the gear (a la butane torch/heat gun) to try to help get the gear off? Or does that method only work if one has dry ice?
I've never done something like that before!

Re: Truck Project Ideas....
Yeah, I've decided to do the same things in my first post, but apply it to the T2. I now have several of these, and as much as I liked driving the 10T, when the T2 came out, it did handle better. Putting a little updating to the chassis will be fun! FWIW, the T2 had the exact same suspension and st...

Re: Stealth Tranny and Brushless?
I'm gonna come out and say that I for one have had poor luck using stealth slippers with Brushless setups on my 10Ts. Now I don't doubt that a major part of the problem is that I have a lead foot (err finger), but it's to the point where now I'm thinking of doing swapping over the B4/T4 dual slipper...

here's the rpm servo mounting posts:

I prefer anodized aluminum servo arms, on metal geared servos, with no "servo saver" on vintage vehicles.
