Re: RC10 into an SC10?

The SC10 specs are on the website... it's longer than the T4 and significantly longer than the RC10. I measured it, but don't remember the actual difference. I'm thinking it would need some sort of aluminum/fiberglass/carbon fiber extension between the chassis and the noseplate. That would require s...

RC10 into an SC10?

Just brainstorming here... Since the RC10 has been converted into who knows how many different type vehicles, is anyone working on a CORR truck conversion for their RC10? I'm guessing it would be easier to start with a T4 since that's what the SC10 started as. I've got a beat chassis laying around a...

Re: RC10B2.0 Baja Project

I have the same tires as well. Watch the grip on asphalt, you'll flip the car for sure!

Dig the body, reminds me of my 1:1 Baja i owned for a while.

Deja Vu #6151 questions

After reading up on the Mirage and Mirage II bodies i started getting excited because i remembered my LHS having some old RC10 body in a bag on the far corner of the shelf. Checked it out yesterday and it's a Deja Vu body.... part #6151 i think. It was definitely in an old AE bag, the printing of th...

Re: I'm a Genius, Dumbass, or this has been done before?

If you're not too particular about the wheels you could use HPI's Vintage series of rims and tires. I've mounted them to my RC10 for on-road bashing. It requires the HPI wheel adapter kit for the rear and the Mod to mount TC wheels to the Traxxas axles and carries, but it looks pretty good. Matter o...

Re: Part # Interchange

Thanks for the info... i suspected that it was going to be a good bit of research on the AE website. Like the old phrase goes, "if it was easy, everyone would do it'

Part # Interchange

If anyone could point me in the direction of a website or list that details which parts are interchangeable between models it would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really interested in restoring cars to number-matching shelf queens. I'd rather score beat up cars and chassis on ebay and turn them int...
