Bearing source?

I am looking for the bearings for the 1/4 axles for the rear carriers. I will need them for the steering bell cranks. Last time I looked AVID did not have this size. Where can I get these?

Re: Can the old stuff handle the new power?

I am glad to hear all the feed back. I will try to get it reliable as possible. It sounds like someone really needs to come up with a case to run the B4 gears and be able to bolt it to to tub and motor plate.

Re: zapping motor

Zapping a motor is when the magnets in the can are supposedly made stronger magnetically by placing them on a large focused electromagnet fixture. It's a old school way of increasing performance of a stock motor primarily. In my experience it makes a very marginal increase in performance.

Re: JRX2

I used to use servo tape only and it worked fine. I good name brand servo tape will work ,the Bolink was always good to me and it usually came of well( in a few pieces instead of separating and then picking at it ) but on that chassis you can use and associated B4 mounts if you want to drill the cha...

Re: What was old is… still old, but a lot newer

I have referenced tis thread many times to build a newer runner but was there ever a complete parts list made for the build? This would really speed up the build time if I knew where to buy the parts

Re: Pictures of a Losi XXX-SCT Short Course Truck.

The scale looks is just one aspect of the class. I REALLY enjoy driving in the Slash class. My local tracks try to separate the SC10s' ,modified slashes, SC8e. ect. into a "open corr class". They really try to keep the slash class as budget friendly as possible. Which is great for beginner...

Re: Can the old stuff handle the new power?

Yea I read a few threads and they all seem to recommend the B4 slipper which makes good sense but i am worried about the diff. If I break a part the track will probably not have it on the shelf... there goes my race day.

Re: RC10 ball bearing steering???

I was looking for something a little more period correct for the vintage builds. I think this would work well for the modern updated runner. What servo mounts are you using for this configuration?

Can the old stuff handle the new power?

I an building a few runners (RC10 and T ) I am wondering if the older stealth trans can handle the power of 8.5 brushless and 7.4 lipo? if not what do you recommend upgrading?

Re: Your biggest mistake

After seeing all the prices on e bay for the stuff i thought was junk and got rid of... Not to mention having to pay the prices to buy back what i once had. I can officially say that I regret selling pretty much everything.

Re: B4 stealth transmission in a gold tub??

Did anyone ever get the B4 trans to fit? It has a few benefits over the original stealh for the newer brushless/ lipo power.

Re: Pictures of a Losi XXX-SCT Short Course Truck.

Was this for real? That is the kind of truck I would have expected from Losi to compete with the SC10 and Blitz.
