Futaba Fasst receiver choices
Hello. I have not been here for a few years. I have a futaba fasst 3pm transmitter. Will the 6 channel receivers bind with it or do I have to buy the 4 channel receivers? They are hard to find but ebay has lots of 6 channels. The Futaba charts all just show the 4 channels (maybe 3) as compatible. Th...

Re: Custom Works Dominator Resto
At the end of their production, they had the slider steering and no holes for the bellcrank parts. They also used a lexan battery holder that only held 6 cells instead of 7 like the intimidator. There where no cut outs or slots for the battery. It sat on top of the chassis. I have a new built domina...

Re: BOLINK DIGGER BUGGY NEW
Back then the buggies were pretty slow and the tracks didn't have many jumps so there were not many broken parts other than steering linkage.I love the simplicity of these early buggies. How are they for durability?

Bolink invader box car
KGrHqJHJCE9SlMoRBPQVWw3g60_12.JPG Started new thread to post the pics of the nitro Invader that Came with the Box cover body that I picked up years ago. Sorry I robbed all of the radio gear and fuel tank and cleaned all of the Georgia clay off of it. I wish I had left it dirty. I'm sure the car was...

Re: got me a bolink round tracker
That's not a round tracker. It is a Bolink Invader O/R. The round tracker had no suspension, just chassis flex.

Re: Bolink Invader "off road" Dirt Tracker II chassis
so thats the same car thats on the box??? or is it made to look that way? It's the one. I bought from bolink after they went out. They used it at trade shows and stuff. Different driver figure and it sits on a "prototype" nitro powered invader that they built. It is in really good conditi...

Re: Bolink Invader "off road" Dirt Tracker II chassis
Is the box the one with this car on it? I used to have the box and stared at this car forever. I never thought I would own the car in the picture. Funny.

Re: Associated v Losi
I also race in Texas (north) and it was pretty much dirt oval everywhere. The Jrx2 came out and people grabbed them. It was not because it was way better, it was more because they came with ball bearings, and a graphite chassis in the box for a decent price. The rc10's stayed more popular around the...

Re: Bolink Invader "off road" Dirt Tracker II chassis
You cant really compare these to the Custom Works cars. They came out years before them and when I bought one from Tower Hobbies, It was just over $100. Compared to the C.W. cars selling at that time for over $400 for 2wd. (to a 15 year old kid that mowed 2 lawns a week for $15, that was a bunch) Th...

Re: Number of key spares?
I ran an original 6-gear through several hundred battery packs and the only wear was the outdrives and stub axles. The BROKEN parts are what really mattered back then. Mostly the dogbones and tie-rods. But that was with the older stock motors. The only parts that I would ever worry about are gears. ...

Re: air supply pro-trix modifield
I can't add any info about air supply, but "Lightspeed" motors out of Ft. Worth, Texas used them in their motors and if you raced in Texas, you had to have one or nobody would talk to you at the track. Really nice motors.

Re: Bolink Invader "off road" Dirt Tracker II chassis
That is an earlier O/R. The rear tires are correct and the later ones had the short dogbone and outdrives, they also had all black fiberglass. The two cut down bulkheads really wanted to twist in and cause drag on the axles, so you had to drill a hole under each one and put a short screw in them to ...
