Re: Acerpower's RC10T runner
Thanks, I'll run it in the dirt as soon as find somewhere without all those big rocks that like to gouge the bottom of the chassis. Almost all of the new parts came from tower. The geeks at the old local hobby shop laughed at it when I brought it in looking for spare parts, and they tried to sell me...

Re: Score - Traxxas Stampede +
Some aluminum caster blocks will save you some bent kingpins.
I haven't bent a kingpin since I switched.
Aluminum shock caps are also helpful if you plan on some heavy bashing.
The plastic ones occasionally pop off (at least they did for me )

Re: Acerpower's RC10T runner
I got the new ball studs today.
I also picked up some fancy conical washers just for some added bling .......................................
I think I have to paint the heads of my screws to cover up the rust until I replace them.

I got my new turnbuckles and RPM ball cups..................................... http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f348/acerpower/P1010590.jpg Instead of titanium I took the cheap way out and just got some new steel ones. I can always use the old ones as spares in case I break or bend one. I figured ...

Re: Polished pan build
That's looking sweet!
I really like the look of polished aluminum and carbon fiber.
You have some nice goodies for your build too.
I'm trying to do something similar with my 10T.

Will the Tower ST-15 body fit the RC10T?
I'm looking for some cheap older style alternatives for my electric 10T.

Re: Acerpower's RC10T runner
Just be sure to wear a dust mask and safety goggles when working with this stuff.
You really don't want to be breathing in the dust from c.f.

Re: Acerpower's RC10T runner
A dremel with a cutting wheel works best, then cut it a little over sized, and sand it to size to prevent chipping. I also use some small hobby files for some shaping and to neaten the drilled holes. I like to cover it with masking tape so I can draw the pattern on it, and it prevents damage to the ...
