I've always like the Digger...hmmm, maybe a new backyard basher. My son wants a crawler though...

Its a shame they have absolutely nothing to do with monster trucks beside the wheels that are too skinny and the bodies. :(

Unless you using a Pede yourself, you might just break your own car trying to rough one of these pede's up.
The pede is near indestructible.

tough? yes
indestructable? no

my neighbor found out how to kill his 'pede.....mess with my clod.
he tried playing demo derby with my clod, my clod drove away and well that 'pede left most of it's front end in the street.

i haven't seen that truck since. lol

no i agree, gray plastic is icky and the pede isnt the most graceful car in any sense of the word, i grew up on the xl1 black chassis rusty and i remember when i first saw the pede in a tower catalog i thought it was a stupid looking thing but then i wound up getting one from a co-worker of my moms and i fell in love from day 1 :D

I think that these trucks are getting back to basics for Traxxas, and I like it.

Simple chassis, durable, great parts availability...

I'm more likely to get one of these for my kids than anything else they make right now.

Would I buy one, heck no. But must give Traxxas a thumbs up. If this garbage gets kids into our sport, AMEN. I started with an original Blackfoot and actually had a 90 something Bigfoot body on it. We raced at the local track and there was another kid with a Digger body. Fun times. Once I got tired of getting my butt kicked by the shop's owner with Thorp gears, I moved up to a RC10. So hopefully this will happen with today's youngsters!
