its a blast, although the software costs a pretty penny, spending 80 bucks on the renewal/lifetime purchase for my current radar software, the next step up costs around 280 bucks. BUT it can show you the storm in 3d as represented by the returns. only downside to chasing is gas consumption haha I w...

Re: picked up my first rc10gt yesterday.
Hey, if you're having trouble with the pull start breaking, save some money and run to walmart. In the fishing isle there is whats called setline for catfish trot lines. you can get like 500 feet of it for 4 dollars and some change. 235lb test and its a touch smaller than whats in the pull start cur...

Re: 2.4GHz antenna length
I don't own that particular model, but the 3 2.4GHz receivers i have all have about a 5-8 inch long antenna. Came that way straight from the box. But like suggested, do a range test, or have a very trusted Fail Safe if its a nitro.

sounds like one helluva nice truck. my buddy just blew up 2 of the old E40ods, so he took the one that had a good case and had it built. so far its held up. and my uncle has a truck directly in line with what yours is charlie, but his never got anywhere near that kinda mileage. Wonder if thats the 4...
