I heard they dont take dye also thats why i didnt even try it and went straight to paint.... oh well maybe ill try dying the next set

Are the JC wheels plastic? I am wondering if Krylon plastic paint will hold. doubtfully. There is too much flex in a wheel for it to hold paint too long. Opinion only of course but I would try to dye them before painting... Todd I just finished painting mine, i will let you guys know how they look ...

cool video great skill in the driver... i like it because its different.... i got a hpi rs4 rally i just purchased that i plan to run on a blue groove track... they came out way before the traxxas model before the brushless days, should be a fun project.

Finally got over to my brothers office to pick up the car.. Here are some pics...after seeing them in the light of the camera i see i need to clean her up. As far as the mods it has robinson racing gears that replace the stock plastic ones...a RR one way diff...GPM aluminium knuckles , upgraded moto...

Also even if the car is setup for 190 you can put a 200 body on it...it will just overhang the wheels 5mm on each side, i have done it before..it doesnt look horrible

I currently have a 190mm body....200mm bodies also fit depending on how you set the car up... i dont remember exactly what parts change that but i will look at my manual when i get to the car.

I have a Pro2, its a great car, very quick and nimble...i got a bunch of hop ups on it, havent been able to find parts for it on ebay for a while...its over at my office or else i would snap some pics of it for you...ill try to get some up monday or tuesday

Just a quick customer review for anyone who cares. Avid Bearings is an awesome company reasonably price bearings quick shipping text alerts on ship out You cant go wrong with this company unless of course your like me and forget to order the bearing sizes you needed TWICE, i paid a few extra dollars...

Got an item i would like to get some input on...all my front links are off a spherical bearing type.
Is there a benefit to this over a ball cup type ?
One thing thats obvious to me is there is alot more hardware involve in may current setup which makes removal and re-install time slightly longer.

Quick Update. I found a NIP Race Prep axle setup in the box of parts my co worker gave me - I dont know anything about them, they look interesting...they have nylon ball ends and the axle ends are offset of each other where stock axles are the same on both sides Does anyone know the benefits behind ...
