i'm trying to get over a wicked cold myself, still have the ear infection though.

surprisingly, it's been much easier than i thought it would be. cold turkey too, no patches or meds. there was no plan behind it either, i guess it was just time.

i'm sure my son rushing me to the ER that night (because i swore i was having a heart attack) might have had something to do with it though.

Great job Jason! 8) If you can get to 3 months you're GOLDEN! It doesn't get any easier until then to be honest. No sense in kidding you. Quitting after 7 years 13 years ago was the single hardest thing I've ever done, but trust me you will feel much better. Save a lot of money too. Don't give in no matter what. There will be tough moments no doubt. Get a rubber grape. The ones that come in those fake fruit bowls. You can chew it a lot harder than gum so it really helps in a moment of weakness. Stay strong! :)

Nice. I'm at year 12. Not having one after a big meal or at the bar was the hardest part. Now, no prob. Sux a** for a while though.

Well done,

It's been 3 weeks for me. I picked up the habit again about 6 months ago after not touching one in 3 years.

Its been 8 months for me. smoked one day then quit the next after I read Allen Cars "Easy way". My only issue was that all I could think about was smoking, but i juts put up with it, it goes after a while.

Well done for quitting Jason!

Congratulations! & Stay strong, your past the hardest part IMO.
I started when i was 13 when it was cool (funny how the times have changed), and It's been 5 1/2 years since I've smoked and I'd never go back although I think about it every day. It was my 6 y/old Neice that keep telling me "your gonna die" that helped. The truth hurts.
Best of luck!
