Wow! I just stumbled upon this very cool short video. 7LEhqs8CTTI And his Youtube channel contains many more videos of this and other iconic vintage RC's. https://www.youtube.com/user/ZeeshahMr/videos Bryan, if you're a member here, I hope you don't mind that I've posted these links. :D

Re: What was Masami’s 1987 CAT XL original servo?
Check out Maasaki’s (Masami’s Father) YouTube channel on his replica CAT build.First episode is the story of the buggy and among other things Talks about how KO quickly manufactured a servo for the 87 Worlds. Very interesting https://youtu.be/fIJdvk1wJ1M I agree completely! I've just finished watch...

Re: What was Masami’s 1987 CAT XL original servo?
My first memory of Masami was at one of our club races hearing one of the guys talk about this Japanese kid who just won the Worlds. He couldn't recall his name but he spoke about how the kid races using a stick radio and is so talented he can drive around the track in reverse and even drive with hi...

Re: 2.2 Wheels for Ultima Pro
Jeff's right. Not only are those wheels a direct fit, but I think they look great on an Ultima Pro.
The style seems to go well with those angular body lines and graphics.

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6 V2
Looks great Chuck. The body fits surprisingly well and perhaps it's due in part to the fact that you've retained the rear shocks in their original location. A lot of RC10 mid conversions that I've seen move the shocks and tower behind the axle and I think this can make it difficult find a body that ...

Re: Dirt-Road 10?
FWIW, I had one of these BITD. I ordered it from Tower Hobbies and it came with a Nissan truck body. I painted it white like box art, ran it on nitro for a while then converted it to electric then sold it. Mine had the brush guard and chevron tires just like yours. I never see these posted anywhere ...

Re: Hyperdrive H10 super glue special
That Vette body is going to look great on this car.
Great choice for colors, by the way. Can't wait to see it finished.

Re: Wow modern buggies are fugly
I am in agreement, most modern buggy bodies don’t look good. I prefer the vintage rc car bodies like the RC10 Mirage. However, there is one vintage rc car body that I have never liked—the Parma Eagle. It’s so ugly! Well, I strongly disagree. I have a Parma Eagle fitted to one of my prized RC...

Re: Hello from WA
Welcome aboard!
My racing years spanned from about '86 to early '94 and I'm holding onto hope that I can pick it up again someday.
That's an interesting looking RC10 in your avatar.
