Re: RC10 DS steering wander - won't return to center, not trim issue
He is using the original servo saver, bellcrank arrangement.
When they get janky, I glue them together and put a HD servo saver on the servo itself.

Hard coated and gold shock caps
Hi guys, I have multiple RC10s and an Element Gatekeeper and I started looking at the original shocks (42078) for the Gatekeeper. I had to check and it shows that the enduro shock caps fits on the old RC10 shock bodies. You will need to purchase the pivot balls (42041) as the cap for the enduros has...

My CL 10T tribute build
Like many of you I grew up drooling over the RCCA article of Cliff Letts Team Moo RC10t. I was fortunate enough to get a 10t in 92 as a kid but never the funds to duplicate that dream truck till now. 😃 I was browsing OfferUp awhile back and I was in the right place at the right time to score this ge...

Re: My CL 10T tribute build
So I had my “shopping list” and went about paying way to much $$$ for those missing parts on eBay and other FB pages but I didn’t care I was building my childhood dream after all… This is where I started taking liberties as I wasn’t building a exact replica of Letts truck but what I wanted it to be ...

Re: My CL 10T tribute build
At this point I had most of the parts for the build I just needed the chassis PC’d that iconic fluorescent red… After searching looked like there were two options that seemed close to the original color going by pics. PPG fluorescent red and a shop out of Florida, APP that had a “Luminous Neon Red” ...

Re: Shimming a gearbox open
If you had some medium/thin ca glue you could possibly lay a bead along the edge of the housing with the flange. Allow to dry fully on a flat surface and you should get a consistent film. If that doesn't work it's easily removed with acetone.

Re: MIP 4X SRB Project: Gonna Have A Lot Of Questions
I was looking for an acid that would dissolve steel and not aluminum and came across this: "By using some sort of Alum: either by using Potassium alum or Ammonium alluminium sulfate. Some guy on the forum suggested to dissolve above alum in hot tap water and then put aluminium part with steel p...

3-bolt wheel adapter RC12
Hello. I am in the making of an adapter for the old RC12l/LW/LS to mount the newer 3-bolt wheels. I know one is available from shapeways, but I want it made out of alloy. I just need the exact diameter of the 3-bolt circle. It is not very exact to measure it from a wheel. So has anybody an idea of t...

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
On my B4 street basher I like Schumacher U6709 front tires with U6652 foam inserts and U6710 rear tires with U6653 foam inserts. All of it on Jconcepts wheels.

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
Hi Joseph, You want a tire for street bashing? then i would go with any of the VTA models from HPI or Protoform. Kyosho and Losi both offer VTA wheels if you want to toy around with different styles. Both the HPI and ProtoForm sets are great on pavement and wear nicely. I've never had technical issu...

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
I've heard using Coppertone suntan lotion does a good job on foam tires. Haven't tried it yet though.
