Re: Became a first time Dad

Congratulations!

Infants sometimes accidentally scratch themselves with their fingernails. A pair of baby socks over the hands takes care of that pretty well.

Unscented baby wipes and A&D gel do a good job preventing and recovering from diaper rash.

RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)

I just restored my RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp) that has not run since the early 90's I swapped out most of the parts with matching aluminum, and still have the original parts (some broken) I did a simple paint job to show off the gold pan. I thought I would share with this community. thumbna...

Re: Became a first time Dad

Thank you all! I really appreciate the practical advice around infant fathering too...your stories and suggestions are so helpful! Lot of trial and error, dividing roles to make the process efficient. Taking a simple shower and eating a quiet meal suddenly became a small luxury haha. In Korea, the g...

Re: Question regarding parts integrity

That's normal and ok. The nylon in the rear arm mount is very thin where the hinge pin hole and the dogbone clearance cove meet. Some people trim that to fully expose the pin and make it look neater, some leave it just like that. However for part integrity you should rehydrate your nylon parts if it...

Vintage AE Team / Worlds build thread

I acquired a new build buggy from mikea96 several years ago. I was very pleased with his vision, but the purist in me decided to strip it down and make it an AE parts car only. The pic below shows some of the original parts that were sourced. Neon yellow chassis is an original B stamp. Other parts w...

RC10T 3D printed rear bulkhead

I just finished the design of a 3D printed rear bulkhead for my RC10T. I printed it using carbon fiber infused ABS. The original bulkhead weighted in at 25g, this printed part weighted in at 9g without the brass threaded inserts, 13 with the inserts. Everything seems to work fine, I suspect that it ...

Re: TQ10 resto

Looks like you’ve got lots of parts to work with. Nice Yes the black 6 gear only motor plate would be correct for the TQ10. Thanks for confirming! This 6 gear seems to have a bunch of hours on it. I don't have a lot of history with the RC10, but this is the most wear I've seen in my experience. 202...

Yokomo 870c white ZC-407C "holy grail" nylon a-arm set

Here are some relatively rare Yokomo 870c white nylon suspension arms. I'm tempted to replace the black arms with these.

Dead car

Hey all, After a conversation at work after one guy bought a Tamiya Frog, I remembered my old Nikko Black Fox I have up in the loft. Brought it down and loaded it with batteries, but it seems dead as a door nail. Light comes on the remote, and there appears to be volts at various places on the board...

Re: RC10 Goldpan ESC advice

Got the Goldpan rebuild done for my brother’s 40th. Fun project! I always have difficulty uploading pics on this forum (iPhone user…), but I was happy with how it turned out for a basher.

On to rebuilding my old Stadium Blitzer for the 6 yo boy…
