Paint and decals on the TQ10. It still needs a few touches but I think it looks pretty good.

Re: Motor Collection - Old School Horsepower
Another saved from the junk pile - this one is a pretty rare MG Power white label Magnum 16quad from early 1987. The can has a few marks but the label is good - they are usually silver labels. Typical Mick soldering and heavy lacquer! The uneven comm wear is explained by the cut brushes! Quite pleas...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got this "car plus extra parts" lot in today, and the plan was to keep the NIP rear wheels (which I have been searching for for months) and one of the NIP OEM bodies, and sell off the rest of the lot separately for close to (if not more than) what I have in it ................... but lik...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2023 ** Winner - TheDiamondOne
No surprises what this is , the Sand Rover was my first rc car , never really great and its taken me 40 years or so to come back too , a lot of CAD and 3D printing involved in the lights and dashboard that are both illuminated as well as the engine , gearbox cover , the celebrity driver's head and S...

Tamiya hybrid buggy, built mostly with Blitzer Beetle parts. It also uses parts for a Stadium Thunder and Hornet. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=47655 The yellow CVA shocks are from a Vanquish and the CVD shafts are for a TA-02. It uses AmPro upper and lower chassis braces. The wh...

My contribution; a freshly built Ultima SB Dirtmaster. RB5 based and rear motor, so already more "retro" than the current crop of buggies out there. I built it as a nod to the Javelin, so some red Exotek alloy bits on RB6 Velvet shocks, a few RB series parts like lightened top shaft and sl...

RC10DS White Parts Special. A project that was almost complete minus a body. I was gifted a Vaterra 1967 Mustang fastback body a few years ago. I decided to mount that body onto a DS chassis for this months's BOTM. The original DS wheels were swapped out for a set of Protoform VTA wheels. This was m...

Re: Big Bear Resurrection
So, I got the wheels and tires disassembled, washed, mold flash trimmed from the rims, tire foams installed and all put back together. No gluing necessary, they didn't put up much of a fight. Not a fan of 3-peice rims I will say. The foams do fit and got the flattened tires sorted out nicely. A tiny...

Re: JrxT Build.
Turnbuckles and shocks installed. Changed the chassis to a servo cutout one because I have other plans for the Proformance chassis. Both front and rear body mounts are new and not trimmed..that’s why they look like skyscrapers.. https://i.postimg.cc/cJHsP6hh/DFAE0-B55-41-F0-4-D57-9-E20-12-B1-ED430-F...

Re: 4wd SRB Trailing arm buggy
Well, after much consternation, I got this car running. The Tf2 universals worked out, and didn't require any trimming of the replacement diff shafts. I bought some Frog wheel adapters and used them to mount the tires on the rims as mounted. Only one problem, the axles were too short with the very w...

Is this Snuffy Smith / Ralph Burch Jr. 1988 Prototype Hyperdrive?
Some time ago I came across an Ebay listing for an old Hyperdrive car. The seller mentioned it was an old National record holder in its day. I was interested but let it pass and moved on. The listing was removed so I figured it sold long ago. Then a year or so later, it shows back up on Ebay so this...

Re: 4wd SRB Trailing arm buggy
Body and wing time........ I had an original Assault body that really looks better than the body I was going to use. I bent the wing up with some sheet aluminum. Good times!
