No surprises what this is , the Sand Rover was my first rc car , never really great and its taken me 40 years or so to come back too , a lot of CAD and 3D printing involved in the lights and dashboard that are both illuminated as well as the engine , gearbox cover , the celebrity driver's head and Scooby dog tags , the paint job just can't be done justice by my photography skills but is a metallic green with holographic flake , no real aspirations of winning but I hope you like it .

Tamiya hybrid buggy, built mostly with Blitzer Beetle parts. It also uses parts for a Stadium Thunder and Hornet.
https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=47655
The yellow CVA shocks are from a Vanquish and the CVD shafts are for a TA-02. It uses AmPro upper and lower chassis braces.
The wheels are from JC Racing, with Schumacher Mini spikes.
The body is a TBG Falcon, modified to work with the Blitzer suspension, and some MCI Bear Hawk decals.
It uses a Futaba receiver and servo, Duratrax Spike esc, and a fake Wimpy motor.

My contribution; a freshly built Ultima SB Dirtmaster. RB5 based and rear motor, so already more "retro" than the current crop of buggies out there. I built it as a nod to the Javelin, so some red Exotek alloy bits on RB6 Velvet shocks, a few RB series parts like lightened top shaft and slipper plate as well as alloy hubs. Wheels are from the Turbo Scorpion rere, but in white (I'd rather not pay $65 to source modern 2.2 wheels in a color). ERP stock motor, a Novak T4 pending and a Futaba receiver with a big honkin' antenna controlled by an FP-T2PD.
I don't think it will get much love, and my photography and camera need to improve, but it's fun to take part this month!

RC10DS White Parts Special. A project that was almost complete minus a body. I was gifted a Vaterra 1967 Mustang fastback body a few years ago. I decided to mount that body onto a DS chassis for this months's BOTM. The original DS wheels were swapped out for a set of Protoform VTA wheels. This was made possible by swapping out the C-hub and axles for set from the SC10 4x4 truck. The body mount post on the bumper were relocated in order to avoid adding another set of mounting holes onto the Mustang. #78 Decals were a custom order.

A lot of good entries. My assumption of what everyone looked like as they were pulling their car off the shelf.

That only took 7 years to build. It's practically an overnight project.
It is very nicely done. It was in my top 3 choices to vote for.
