Sounds like the breakage caused the accident.. For a stronger modification, you can use A-2007 5-link outer hinge pins. This was featured in Losi Tech Talk back in the day. The parts arrived and everything is back together. The A-2007 mod worked great. Weirdly my old JRX-Pro lists the outer hinge pin part number as A-2007, which it definitely was not. I'm guessing that was a misprint that carried over the JRX-2 part number. Oh well, happy accident.

Ok swapped out my rod ends to the RPM rod ends. I'm probably going to order some retro style lunsford titanium turnbuckles from gp3d though as I think they will look better. I really need to find a body and get it painted.

I picked up what I thought was a brand new Proformance build back in 2018. Stealth in place

Today was shock day. Everything is new and original, including the early shock collars. I drilled out the front pistons with a #56 bit per the tech tips. I was able to track down the missing A-2016 rear pivot supports. Instructions and tech tips call for the #1 pivot since the Jrx2 rear pivot (A-2002) is only for the 5-link suspension. This is a very impressive build. Such a big project to take on with all the custom parts. I'm really looking forward to seeing it progress.
