I also have a few pair of 3/8 x 5/8 bearings in the box. They come in handy for 6 gear outdrives.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I like weird speed controls. I think this AstroFilght 205 counts. It says it's for 6 to 32 cells. Oh boy!!! 💥😁 I guess they were trying for the drag racing scene. . 1000011795.jpg . [edit #1] Well, not so much 'Oh boy' from this one. Garry said it was OK in March 1992. It's less than OK in June 2024...

AstroFlight Model 205 ESC
The AstroFlight Model 205 is a non-BEC speed control that has no power shut-off switch. From initial checkout, observed response times seem significantly more sluggish than other speed controls. . 1000011811.jpg 1000011812.jpg 1000011813.jpg 1000011814.jpg 1000011815.jpg 1000011816.jpg 1000011817.jp...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
My Hornet bodied Ishipla Monster has been a little too naked, so it was sticker time.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I'm currently committed to a different bin box but this might help someone else that's still looking. It does look like a reasonable price and nice setup.

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
I knew about Trinity motors and Kyosho cans, but I'd never seen a Checkpoint with a Kyosho can before.

Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy
Creeping forward with this. I haven't decided on buggy or truck. So far the answer is 'Yes.'
. . .
Actually, scratch that. I already know it's going to be a buggy. I've been hanging onto this ratty body for it.

Google Translate has changed what it translates to several times since I first got the body shell. It did momentarily say Mike but then changed to microphone.
