A set of Custom Works 7210 CVDs makes a nice upgrade to the 3/16" axle size and lets you use the JConcepts B2/B3 rear wheels. Just needs 2 pair of FR166ZZ bearings for the CVD axles.

Aren't they just practicing on the first ones built, just to see if they can put together a good one later on?

Out of a box of graveyard motor parts, with the addition of 2 bearings and 2 brush springs there was the makings of a nice running Sagami can 13T single screamer. Got a few more motors. The 2 old Trinity motors needed a drop of bushing oil but all test as good runners.

For your 6 gear transmission, are you doing the outdrive bearing mod?

Very nice setup you're making. Looks great!

My grocery store stopped carrying these in full sized bags but Walgreens has the individual size bags. They taste sort of like Taco Doritos but with some oomph. Do not purposesly inhale the scent in an open bag of chips. You don't need that fire in your lungs.

My friend had one. He did not enjoy it. He struggled against RWD and 4WD buggies in turns and jumps. I felt sorta bad for him.

I switched to a Novak Havoc ESC because it has Lipo support built in, but it doesn't like the Tamiya brushless motor and throws a fault code for motor not having temperature monitoring. So in goes a Novak 13.5 with it. Rear suspension is now significantly beefed up with some goodies from Factory Wor...
