Re: Currently Playing
If you like Metallica, then you'll probably like these "classical" renditions. Nothing else matters - by mozart heros https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxoW-00Zyho nothing else matters - Apocalyptica - This is one of those 'one hit wonders' I was talking about. This one is great, the others...

Re: TAG Pro10 mag review car with options
So I got very lucky again and a guy on the IconicRC Fb page offered to send me a free but used original and super rare Pro10 body shell. As soon as it arrived I stripped the questionable stickers and 80’s-fied it! Really pleased with the final look! 645BFCCC-F2AF-4ABB-BC47-479041277DC8.jpeg B51506B4...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Drew up and printed the reduction gear , it's to replace a gear in the Ishipla Monster that runs on a bushing that has no equivalent bearing so this one can take two 6x3x3 flanged bearings

Re: Carbonfiber T3 RTR
I got a couple of coats of clear on the chassis and it looks fantastic. All of the parts bolt up and the counter sinks have been added. IMG_2401.jpeg IMG_2400.jpeg As well the Eastwood 2k clear is really amazing. I’m using the can I had leftover from last year and it still works. The rear mount is a...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Making some swaybar mounts from scrap G10.
They turned out pretty well. I might dye them black. That's a Kyosho mount for reference. It's nice to be able to make bits and pieces. Saves quite a few bucks.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Well, that was not really today, but it took a bit of time to sort the pics. There was a vintage event nearby over the week-end, and I went there the two days... https://i.imgur.com/nSATOHA.jpg https://i.imgur.com/uJpbX9C.jpg Almost nothing broken : - a shock tower bent on the Turbo Optima - a rollc...

Re: Big Bear Resurrection
Big thanks to silvertriple! Got the rear repair body posts printed and used Tamiya Frog body posts. Had to cut the thread off the Frog mounts and then cut 8-32 threads on the upper of the shaft and everything screwed together just nice, without doing any drilling on the printed repair parts. I can g...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Traxxas XL-3 controller. I've been hunting for this part for a long time. Several folks told me not to even bother looking for one, because they are so rare. To find this one NIB feels amazing. It will be a perfect fit in my TRX1 build.
