Re: Big Bear Resurrection
It all depends what you want to do... If it is for running, I would rather suggest some Tamiya Lunchbox tires and some printed rims (I published those I printed for my Big Bear on Printables few weeks ago). And you may also find some parts to repair the rear body mounts (I see yours are shaved). My...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
The other day I started Modelling up the Ishipla Monster , the chassis and front suspension is nearly complete . assembly v12.png assembly v121.png I've found more manufacturer mistakes in this car than any before , its not uncommon to find one mistake by the manufacturer and for every time I find o...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
More pretty pictures and more manufacturer errors found

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Just finished the gearbox , Lordy :!: There's stuff you just expect to be how things are done , like if there are 4 screws in the corners holding the gearbox together that they will be equally spaced out , no none of that here and for no reason I can see , well maybe with one of them as its also a m...

Re: Big Bear Resurrection
Big thanks to silvertriple! Got the rear repair body posts printed and used Tamiya Frog body posts. Had to cut the thread off the Frog mounts and then cut 8-32 threads on the upper of the shaft and everything screwed together just nice, without doing any drilling on the printed repair parts. I can g...

Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
Makes you think all metal transmission for vintage cars being within reach , to my mind the gears are the biggest bottle neck to really driving it like its the 80's

Re: Again another Marui project : Super Wheelie and Big Bear!
Refreshing to see it driven hard
, you see so many YouTube films of people really driving so slow and careful , just seems a shame to see such dynamic machines reduced to crawling about .

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Two days ago I received a Bambu Labs P1P , the following day an upgrade package of parts to run abrasive filaments , jumbo cooling fan and a fan for the control board as I intend to make an enclosure for it , anyway I just finished fitting all the kit of parts and I've run a few prints , man oh man ...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Printed this Ishipla Monster chassis today but being a dumb ass I printed the wrong file , now waiting another 4 hours for the proper version to print lol , super impressed with the quality especially the ironing feature that gives a smoothed finish to flat top surfaces. 20230703_153356.jpg 20230703...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
This is just a bit of nonsense, an articulated print in place dragon in two colour silk filament , really showcases what the P1P can do
